Final Words...

So some final words... Well actually, I think I've pretty much said all I wanted to say in the last post!

Youtube Upload and the Aftermath...

This project has really gotten me acquainted with Flash again. I have used the program before in the past but it has been so long that I forgot pretty much everything about it. Almost. OK, that might be a bit if an exaggeration but I am quite unfamiliar with it.

I mostly used keyframes because I really just don't like the look of motion tween. The character also had lots of fast movements that allowed me to include in-betweens that had exaggerated motion blur. Tom (the character) was actually all separated into cut out pieces because he was originally supposed to be motion tweened. Since that plan went down the toilet and I ended up keyframing everything, one layer for the character could probably have sufficed. But nevermind...

Overall the style and direction I went with regarding the clip was rather simplistic in choice because of several reasons. Either, I'm pretty happy with what I came up with. I will definitely be using Flash more in the future. I absolutely love how efficient it is.

Ah, what the hell.

Here is the final video. I actually want to tweak a TEEEEEENSY bit before I hand it in. There's a blank white screen at the end and I need to make the credits extend to the end. I also inbetweened rather quickly and carelessly at times, so I'm probably going to go back in flash sometime to make the animation run smoother. On another note there is one thing I forgot to mention. Instead of making it the "Death of Maya," I kind of just used the blue screen of death. It's more universal, anyway. Hahaha~

VICTORY!

WOOHOOOOO I'M FINALLY DOONNNNNEE!!! I'm a little preoccupied with stop motion finals right now, so I will post the finished clip tomorrow sometime after 7:30 PM. I'm also going to post up some old progress screen shots since I never got to post them earlier.

BIG THANKS TO COOPSTAH FOR DOING MY SOUND! It sounds way better than anything I would be able to do. :)

So.. I'm almost done... I still need to inbetween a lot of things, but no biggie, the BIG part is done. I'm hoping to get done in-betweening around tomorrow or maybe even Monday. But anyway, after that it's all good to go! (OK, after that sound is put in, of course).
